About the Team

The Technical Trainer position is part of the Nutanix Education team. Your position is located in India, preferably in Bangalore, where one of our offices is located. Being an instructor on our team requires cooperation with other education teams, for instance, to review updated course material while also being able to deliver high-quality training independently. Collaboration and providing assistance to your fellow instructors is necessary and expected as you will be working in a small team that is characterized by inquisitiveness and a social culture. Measured through customer satisfaction scores, your mission is to deliver high-quality training through which customers are empowered to effectively implement and utilize Nutanix's virtualization and Cloud products.
Delivery is both virtual instructor-led (vILT) and on-site instructor-led (ILT). These multi-day training events frequently occur outside standard business hours to accommodate customer needs and schedules.
Although your role is completely remote, you will occasionally need to travel to customer sites or the Bangalore office to conduct face-to-face deliveries.
 
Your Role
  • Deliver virtualization courses to technical audiences at our enterprise customers.
  • Conduct engaging instructor-led training sessions with customers, both virtual instructor-led (vILT) an on-site ILT.
  • Travel to customer locations for training, adapting to non-standard hours as required.
  • Review and test updated or new course material.
  • Collaborate with team members while maintaining independence in work.
  • Provide student and course material feedback to continuously enhance training effectiveness and quality.
  • Engage in continuous learning about virtualization, Cloud services, and Nutanix products.
 
What You Will Bring
  • 3 to 5 years of experience delivering enterprise virtualization courses.
  • Ability to teach technical content effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Proficiency in English, virtualization, Linux, and network technologies (e.g., Cisco).
  • Willingness to travel and work outside of standard business hours.
  • Independence and self-motivation in work.
  • Strong social skills for engaging with customers and internal teams.
  • Cloud experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Nutanix products is a plus.
